[June 28] Video update: Protect Purdue fall expectations: In a special summer address to students, President Mitch Daniels shared that Purdue’s approach to keeping COVID-19 in check remains the same: “Protect yourself, protect others, protect Purdue.”
[May 5] Campus testing center, vaccine clinic to close May 13: Purdue announced Thursday (May 5) that it will close its West Lafayette COVID-19 testing center and vaccine clinic, located in the Córdova Recreational Sports Center (Co-Rec), as of 4 p.m. May 13. Testing for employees and students who are symptomatic or need a test for university-related travel purposes will be available through the Center for Healthy Living and Purdue Student Health Center, respectively.
[April 25] With spring semester winding down, persistence, perseverance required for our campus community to finish strong: As some parts of the country experience a significant uptick in COVID-19 cases, Protect Purdue officials are encouraging students, faculty and staff to remain vigilant with final exams around the corner and commencement ceremonies just a few weeks away.
[April 21] Participants sought for study of similarities between immune response to COVID-19, current vaccines: Purdue University students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in a clinical study offered by the Protect Purdue Health Center (PPHC) and Biodesix to help identify similarities in immune responses to SARS-CoV-2 and current COVID-19 immunizations.
