[October 15] Booster shot update — Most individuals who received Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine 6+ months ago now eligible for booster shot: Anyone 18 or older who is living, taking classes or working on campus or in a fraternity, sorority and cooperative life facility and who received two doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine six or more months ago is eligible to receive the booster shot.
[September 30] Booster shots available at campus vaccine clinic: Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine booster shots are now available to eligible members of the Purdue University community at the West Lafayette campus vaccine clinic.
[September 24] Protect Purdue efforts proving effective a month into semester: A month into the 2021-22 school year, Purdue University’s Protect Purdue efforts continue to be successful in helping keep the campus vibrant, healthy and safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
[September 12] Employee vaccine incentive winners announced: 50 Purdue employees are winners after choosing to get vaccinated.
[September 10] 84 Purdue students face disciplinary action for failing twice to comply with required COVID-19 test: Three weeks into the semester, 84 students are receiving disciplinary action for failing to comply with the Protect Purdue surveillance testing requirement after a prior warning. 214 employees have received an initial written warning that they are in non-compliance.
[September 1] Flu shots: Seasonal flu shots are provided at no charge to all Purdue West Lafayette students and to benefits-eligible Purdue faculty and staff, as well as spouses and dependents covered on a Purdue medical plan, through a variety of means.
[August 26] 80% of campus now fully vaccinated against COVID-19: Less than one week into the semester, the Purdue University campus community in West Lafayette has reached a milestone in the fight against COVID-19, with 80% of the overall population now fully vaccinated.
