[September 12] Employee vaccine incentive winners announced: 50 Purdue employees are winners after choosing to get vaccinated.
[September 10] 84 Purdue students face disciplinary action for failing twice to comply with required COVID-19 test: Three weeks into the semester, 84 students are receiving disciplinary action for failing to comply with the Protect Purdue surveillance testing requirement after a prior warning. 214 employees have received an initial written warning that they are in non-compliance.
[September 1] Flu shots: Seasonal flu shots are provided at no charge to all Purdue West Lafayette students and to benefits-eligible Purdue faculty and staff, as well as spouses and dependents covered on a Purdue medical plan, through a variety of means.
[August 26] 80% of campus now fully vaccinated against COVID-19: Less than one week into the semester, the Purdue University campus community in West Lafayette has reached a milestone in the fight against COVID-19, with 80% of the overall population now fully vaccinated.
[August 23] Campus COVID-19 vaccination rate among the top in the state as fall semester begins: 43,130 students, faculty and staff — 79% of the West Lafayette campus — are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as the 2021-22 school year begins.
[August 17] More than 40,000 at Purdue, and growing, are documented as fully vaccinated against COVID-19: With one week until classes begin and move-in underway, the Protect Purdue Health Monitoring and Surveillance Team released updated data Tuesday (Aug. 17), showing that 40,496, or 75%, of all West Lafayette students, faculty and staff have submitted proof and been verified as fully vaccinated, with some areas showing significantly higher percentages.
[August 11] Reminder: Submit proof of vaccination by Aug. 13 or participate in surveillance testing this fall: During the Fall 2021 semester, Boilermakers can choose to protect Purdue either by getting fully vaccinated submitting valid proof by Aug. 13 or participating in routine surveillance testing, which could be as frequent as weekly, beginning Aug. 23.
