Available residential resources for students after Thanksgiving

As we transition to remote instruction and look ahead to winter break, many resources are still available virtually or with modified hours. 

Crisis Resources 

After hours and emergencies: After-hours mental health crisis services that remain available 24 hours a day. Call 765-494-6995, then press 1. Call 911 if your crisis is life threatening.

Counseling and Psychological Services 

CAPS will remain open, offering services remotely through December 18th. To connect to services, please call CAPS directly at (765) 494-6995. Brief screenings are available same day or next day to ensure that CAPS can connect with you as quickly as they can. For more information, visit the CAPS website here.  

Given the longer winter break this year, CAPS also wanted to remind you of other resources that may be helpful when not meeting with a CAPS provider. 

Welltrack is an interactive self-help therapy tool that is free of cost and available to ALL Purdue students. Welltrack can be accessed directly here.  

If you are hoping to connect to a mental health provider closer to your hometown over the break, we encourage you to utilize Thriving Campus. This provider search tool is also completely free and available to ALL Purdue students. Thriving Campus can be accessed directly here.

Student Health Center 

PUSH continues to be available to students during the remainder of the remote semester. To view PUSH hours, click here.  

Advising & Support 

To connect with your advisorplease log on to BoilerConnect and you’ll find your success team and academic advisor on the lower right side of the screen.  

Student Support Services will continue to be available during the remote semester. To connect with a Student Support Specialist remotely, call 765-494-1747 or odos@purdue.edu to schedule an appointment.  

The Academic Success Center’s physical space will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday from now until Dec. 11. The ASC is offering virtual drop-in hours until Dec. 4 for any students wanting to quickly connect regarding preparing for finals. Purdue’s Disability Resource Center will continue to be available to students and instructors following the University Calendar. The DRC will close at the end of the day on Dec. 18, 2020, and will reopen on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021. Most of the DRC’s work is being done remotely. Students connecting with the DRC for the first time should complete an online Accommodation Request Form. To contact the DRC, email drc@purdue.edu or call 765-494-1247.

Purdue’s Veterans Success Center (VSC) will be open from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. daily through Dec. 18, 2020. VSC will close during Purdue’s winter recess and will reopen on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021. The office can be reached by phone at 765-494-7638 or by email at dogtags@purdue.edu.

Study Spaces 

During the remote remainder of the semester, various study spaces will continue to be open. Visit lib.purdue.edu for hours of various locations on campus.   

Please note various indoor study spaces in STEW, Armory and Co-Rec will close on November 24 for the remainder of the Fall semester. STEW 204, 218a, 218b and 218c study spaces will be open for the remainder of the Fall semester. For the spring semester, additional indoor study spaces will be available. 

ITaP Services

Student Activities and Organizations

Food 

Dining Courts and additional Purdue Dining & Culinary locations will be open for the remainder of the Fall semester. To view the up-to-date hours, click here.

ACE Food Pantry will be available during the remainder of the Fall semester the following hours:
