Distribution of Protect Purdue wellness kits for spring semester
*While opportunities to pick up wellness kits at the France A. Córdova Recreational Sports Center (CREC) and Boiler Cold Rush have passed, eligible students can still pick up kits at the Purdue Graduate Student Center between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Monday-Friday.
** Face shields also remain available for any student, faculty or staff member who needs one for the spring semester.
Protect Purdue wellness kits will be distributed to students in the spring 2021 residential experience who were not on campus for the fall 2020 semester (including new students and students who are transitioning from fully online to the residential experience) and new faculty or staff for the spring semester. The kit includes useful gear like antibacterial gel and wipes, acetaminophen, a thermometer, a face shield and a pair of gold and black branded face masks. The kit also includes a copy of the Protect Purdue Pledge.
Eligible students who live in University Residences and congregate housing will be able to pick up their wellness kits from the France A. Córdova Recreational Sports Center (CREC) in Gyms 4-6 from Jan. 11 through Jan. 18 while completing check-in at the gyms. Designated entrances on the north side of Gyms 4-6 will be clearly marked. Students who are off campus and participate in Boiler Cold Rush can pick up their wellness kits at Boiler Cold Rush.
Eligible students who will not live in University Residences or participate in Boiler Cold Rush, graduate students, faculty and staff may pick up a wellness kit at the Graduate Student Center between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Monday-Friday beginning Jan. 11. Individuals are required to correctly wear face masks when picking up wellness kits. Distribution will continue until all supplies are depleted.
Students who were on campus for the fall 2020 semester are not eligible to receive a wellness kit during the spring 2021 semester.
As a reminder, departments who are interested in purchasing additional branded masks should use one of Purdue’s approved vendors.
