Face shields remain available for spring semester
Face shields remain available for any student, faculty or staff member who needs one for the spring semester.
Face shields produced by the Indiana Manufacturing Competitiveness Center (IN-MaC) and face shields from Fisher Scientific are currently available.
Face shields may be picked up at the Purdue Graduate Student Center between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Monday-Friday. Individuals are required to wear face masks when picking up face shields. Distribution will continue as long as inventory is available.
Face shields for faculty and staff researchers can also be pre-ordered by completing an online form. The online form will remain open throughout the spring semester.
Not all students, faculty and staff may need a face shield. The face shields are mostly used in lab settings and active learning courses. Both face shields and face masks should be worn when close proximity work is required for extended periods of time.
Wellness kits also remain available at the Purdue Graduate Student Center for students who were not on campus for the fall 2020 semester (including new students and students who are transitioning from fully online to the residential experience) and new faculty or staff for the spring semester.
