Protect Purdue Plan: Read our comprehensive and evolving plan to keep our campus and our community safe by limiting the spread of COVID-19.

Protect Purdue Health Center: Dedicated health center launched to quickly and effectively respond to potential cases or exposure of COVID-19 among students, faculty and staff on the West Lafayette campus.

New Travel Guidelines: Travel restrictions in place for all Purdue West Lafayette faculty, staff and students who are traveling for work or in connection with a course, including Purdue Extension and Polytechnic Statewide.

Required Safety Training: All West Lafayette faculty and staff must complete the COVID-19 On-site Employee Safety Training by July 1; information on how students should complete the training will be shared soon. Campus visitors should complete the training from Radiological and Environmental Management (REM).

Protecting the Most Vulnerable: Process in place for identifying those who are most vulnerable to serious illness and for making accommodations to provide a safe working environment.

Flu Vaccination Required Fall 2020: The annual influenza vaccination will be required for students, faculty and staff as a condition to being on campus in fall 2020; more information on flu shot events and locations now available.

Fall 2020 Online Alternative: Details available now on fully online alternative for coursework to accommodate those students who cannot or choose not to come to the West Lafayette for the Fall 2020 semester.

Protect Purdue Pledge: All members of the Purdue community are expected to pledge to “protect myself, protect others and protect our Purdue community.”

De-Densification: Classroom and living spaces will be de-densified to allow for safe social distancing.

Campus Cleaning: More frequent and intensive disinfection practices will be implemented, with a focus on restrooms, classrooms and high touch areas.

New Protocols on Face Masks: New required safe health protocols include face masks, distancing, robust personal hygiene for anyone who must be on campus.

Research Ramp-Up: The Research Ramp-Up Task Force is leading a phased return to research operations.
