President Daniels video update: Welcome back

Dear Boilermakers,   

Greetings and welcome back. I trust you’re as excited to be on campus as we are glad to have you here, and in person.

As has become our custom, I wanted to share a short video update with you as we start another year navigating the pandemic together. Please watch the video below for details on what to expect this year, and the responsibilities we all share to keep Purdue open. This begins with confirming your vaccination status by Friday, choosing either vaccination or regular testing of the sort the entire campus cooperated in all last year. Please take it seriously; I assure you, we do.

We have every reason to expect a great year. But that depends on how we all handle ourselves, and whether we show the same spirit of community that got us through 2020. Like last year, I’m betting on us.
