I am a new incoming international student for fall 2020, can I come to campus for the fall 2020 semester? (Updated July 16)
According to the most current guidance from the Department of Homeland Security, students who have not already established status inside the United States, and who are admitted to the fall 2020 semester should not enter the United States for the fall 2020 semester. Current guidance indicates that those students “should remain in their home country” [or place of origin] until the COVID-19 emergency procedural adaptations are no longer required. Undergraduate students who are not currently inside the United States, should plan to remain outside the United States and begin your program via the online learning experience. Graduate students should contact their academic department to learn more about beginning their programs online or deferring their admission start date.
